What to Expect
Four Weeks.
One Hell of a Transformation.
Pole 101 is a four-week series — same day, same time, same crew. Each class builds on the last. By week four, you'll be pulling off moves you didn't think your body could do. Here's how it goes:

Foundation & First Moves
We get you on the pole from day one. You'll learn grip, stance, and your first spins — plus the movement foundation that makes everything else click. You'll leave with sexy homework to practice before next week.

Build the Body
New spins, transitions, and your first taste of floorwork. You'll notice things getting easier — that's not luck, that's the method working. The women around you are going through the exact same thing.

Find Your Flow
This is the week it starts feeling like you. We layer in musicality and longer combinations. The nervous energy has worn off. What's left is something that looks a lot like confidence.

Your First Routine
You tie it all together into a real starter routine. Then you graduate — officially a PoleKitten. Your white garter is waiting. So is the cupcake.

More Than Just Class Time
We've been doing this for twenty years. We know what it takes to go from "I've never done this" to "I can't believe I did that." Pole 101 is built around that transformation — in the studio and out of it.

Access your home workouts anytime from your phone. Animated, timed, and designed to keep you progressing between classes — so every minute on the pole counts more.
Sexy Homework
Yes, homework. No, not the kind you hated in school. Movement exercises to keep the vibe going between classes.
Your White Garter
Finish the series and you earn it. The first step in our nine-level garter progression — the most satisfying thing you'll ever strap to your thigh.
Seven Poles, All Yours
Small class sizes. Seven poles in our studio. You get real instruction time, not a number in a crowd.
VICTORY IS SWEET
We take badassery seriously. We take cupcakes seriously too. Both are waiting for you at the end of week four.
What to Wear & Bring
Come Prepared.
Leave Transformed.
Pole fitness requires skin contact with the pole for grip — which means yes, shorts. Here's exactly what to do and what not to do.
DO
- Sports bra or tank top — you need your arms free
- Booty shorts (volleyball or biker) — skin grip matters
- Bare feet — heels come later, once you've earned them
- Kneepads or leg warmers — optional but your knees will thank you
- Hair tie — and maybe learn the hair flip while you're at it
- Water — you're going to work up a sweat
DON'T
- Lotion — anywhere on your body, day of class. Ashy beats injured.
- Rings, bracelets, watches — the poles can damage your jewelry
- Oils or body butters — even if you think it absorbed. It didn't.
- Street shoes — barefoot only for beginners
- Excuses — we don't have a lost-and-found for those
Questions We Hear Every Day
Just Ask Already.
Do I need to be fit or a good dancer?
No and no. We specialize in first-timers — it's genuinely what we're best at. You need exactly two things: your body and the willingness to show up. We handle the rest.
Am I too old / too heavy / too inflexible?
We've been turning real women into badasses for twenty years. Every body type, every fitness level, every age. The pole doesn't care about your excuses and neither do we — in the best possible way.
Do I have to wear heels?
Beginner classes are barefoot, always. Heels come later — with proper instruction on how to actually move in them. We love our Pleasers, but we love not sending you home with a sprained ankle more.
What if I miss a class in the series?
Life happens. Reach out to us and we'll work with you. The series is progressive, so we want to make sure you don't miss anything important — your instructor will catch you up.
Is this just for women?
PoleKittens is a women-only studio — a genuine sexy sisterhood. It's part of what makes this place work. When you walk through that red door, it's all yours.
Where are you located? Is parking easy?
We're at 4719 Vine St, Cincinnati, OH 45217 in St. Bernard — look for the red door. Free municipal parking is directly across the street. Head upstairs, above Wigland. You'll know you found the right place.
What happens after Pole 101?
You move into Level 2 and keep climbing — literally. Our nine-level garter system means there's always a next challenge and a next reward. Most women come in thinking they'll try one series. Most are still here years later.
